Casa Mallol, also known as Casa Cambo, appeared on the seafront of Roses in 1906 having been built by the architect Joan Marès i Marès. After the Spanish Civil War, the building fell into decay and was only spared demolition after the municipality became its owner in 1980. Casa Mallor is a rare Art Nouveau site in Roses that has survived to this day.
